Delete Your Account

Simi Circle is the app published by Sigma Machina for Simi Valley (com.sigmamachina.simicircle). You can delete your account and its data at any time. There is no charge, and you do not need to contact us first.

Delete your account from the app

1. Open Simi Circle and make sure you are signed in.
2. Open the menu (☰) and tap Profile.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when asked. Deletion runs immediately and signs you out.

Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email info@simicircle.com from the address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We verify ownership of the address and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

These are deleted outright and cannot be recovered:

• Your account and sign-in credentials (email, Google sign-in link)
• Your profile: display name, email address, photo, and account settings
• Saved coupons, saved businesses, saved events, and activation history
• Points balance, streaks, achievements, and game progress
• Notification tokens, so the app stops sending you notifications

What is kept, and why

Records of community activity are kept in an anonymized form so that neighborhood totals (points contributed, deals redeemed community-wide) stay accurate after someone leaves. When your account is deleted, these records have your user ID, device ID, and email permanently removed and replaced with an anonymous placeholder, so they can no longer be linked back to you or to any person.

We may also retain records where the law requires it, such as transaction or tax records. These are kept only as long as required and are never used to contact you.

Timing

Deletion from the app happens immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days of verification. Routine backups are cycled out within 90 days, after which no copy of the deleted data remains.
